"I peed, Momma! I PEED." Lulie kicks her heels on the toilet bowl and leans forward, "See."
"Ooooh, did you WIPE?"
"Yeah," her head bobs. "I peed."
"Uh, it's gonna flood."
"Momma," Janie calls, "This might be kind of a yucky job, but get a spoon and put some of it in the trash."
Lulie grins, "I wiped."
"Yup. Craig?!"
Lord only know how, but that whole mountain of toilet tissue actually flushed.

Any toilet training tips?
Yeah for Lucy!!! Still in that stage right now, so no tips. Amazing what a toilet can handle :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are doing just fine. Seems like knowing that the purpose is to catch drips rather that DRYING and disinfecting the whole area might make a difference. That could lead to the opposite problem....
ReplyDeleteNow poopy--that's a different story.
LOL yay!!! good job honey! :) bethany, i hope you can link up tomorrow... i love your posts.
ReplyDeleteI need to start potty training Wes and have been putting it off! I'd like to hear YOUR tips since you have successfully already trained two kids! Ps love that pic of lulie... Adorable and so much personality!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, what a beautiful, horribly familiar story :) My third daughter actually climbed right into the toilet to see how she could help...hands and feet.
ReplyDeletePerseverance is all I can advise.
Wow, go Lulie! If you have any tips please share them with me! I'm on my last potty-training nerve... ;)
